The dos & don'ts 

Read below for some eyelash extension aftercare that will help make your lashes last in between fills and stay as healthy and strong as possible. If you have any issues with your extensions please call us within 72hrs. of the appointment. 

Please DO:

• Use an approved eyelash life extender product such as “Longer Life Coating”. This helps protect the eyelashes from moisture, humidity and prolongs the life of the eyelash.
• Wash your lashes daily with a water based makeup remover or cleanser. Before your fill attempt to wash your lashes as it increases lashing time for the technician and helps increase proper retention. 
• Use cotton swabs to remove makeup by working gently around the eyelashes.
• Book your next eyelash refill at 2-4 week intervals in order to maintain your optimum eyelash effect.

Please DON'T:

• Wetting your eyelashes for 24 hours after your procedure.
• Avoid steam rooms, saunas and swimming pools for 48 hours.
• Do not use waterproof mascara, cleaners, makeup removers or moisturizers.
• Do not use manual eyelash curlers.
• Do not rub your eyes or pull on extensions as it will pull out your natural eyelashes.
• Do not perm or tint your eyelash extensions.

Fills & removals 

If you come in for a fill please note that if more than 40% of the lashes are gone it will be considered a full set

• Lash Fill should be done every 2-3 weeks depending on which style of lashes you have and your retention.
• The average person loses about 5 lashes per day naturally during a normal lash cycle so do not be alarmed as this is normal.
• Please come in for removals, do not attempt to remove your lashes at home. It is a quick and painless procedure when done professionally and will keep the integrity of your natural lashes. *If you are a client at Posh your removal will be free!* 
• Please do not cut your extensions or attempt to alter them. This will harm your natural lashes and make it difficult for the technician to assist you.
• If you have any issues with your extensions 72hrs. after your appointment please let us know and we will get you in for a fix.
